The Box
Have you ever accidentally picked up and broken something you shouldn’t have? Maybe round someone's house, at school or even at work? A moment of curiosity quickly turned into panic.
Every day, we face an endless array of possibilities, yet our daily lives often feel repetitive. My project aims to make viewers aware of the decisions they make, to shake up their moment and prompt them to make a decision based on nothing more than their intuition.
The project focuses on a box. The very act of touching the inconspicuous box rapidly unfolds into a game where the protagonist is the player, and the narrative is their existence. The box becomes a part of their narrative, whether they like it or not. The question is, to press or not to press the button? And in that very moment... as if by magic, the timer began to count down.

When the box tumbles open, a big red button becomes illuminated, and a timer begins to count down. The player (the unsuspecting curiositor) is faced with a narrator describing their unfolding situation and laying out their options. Magnetically bound and electromagnetically triggered, the aim is to bring the very act of decision-making to the forefront of participants' attention.
