Cleaning in progress is an A4 publication printed in black and white, simplex, and bound at the top, using bulldog clips, to incur the same physical action of interacting with a physical floor sign. With every turn of the page the audience continues to follow the metaphorical journey of the sign; almost spectating in on their questioning, curiosity and self-destructive behaviour. Finally leaving the audience abruptly with nothing but questions.
This project was a collaboration with fine artist @holl_palmer, as an overnight project to create content for my 'Matter' exhibition series, to show the idea of what printed publications can be using the idea of recontextualisation.
