Cleaning In Progress: Zine

Cleaning In Progress Animation (2018)
Cleaning in progress is a printed publication that follows the tragic life of a wet floor sign; in doing so questions what is our purpose, and the meaning of life.

Cleaning in progress is an A4 publication printed in black and white, simplex, and bound at the top, using bulldog clips, to incur the same physical action of interacting with a physical floor sign. With every turn of the page the audience continues to follow the metaphorical journey of the sign; almost spectating in on their questioning, curiosity and self-destructive behaviour. Finally leaving the audience abruptly with nothing but questions.

This project was a collaboration with fine artist Hollie Palmer, as an overnight project to create content for my 'Matter' exhibition series, to show the idea of what printed publications can be using the idea of re-contextualisation.
